MEET THE TEAM
Ashley Haselton
Co - Owner | Instructor

Ashley first discovered the benefits of yoga in college. While working a corporate job, she began seeking alternative paths to address her own health imbalances. This ignited her desire to pursue a career in holistic wellness. In 2012, Ashley traveled to India then returned home to complete a 200-hr yoga certification. She’s continued her training in San Francisco and Bali, led retreats and teacher trainings, and become a Nutritional Therapy Consultant. Her goal is to create a safe environment for people to remember their true nature and to find self-acceptance through breath, movement, presence, and playfulness.
Mika Groscost
Co - Owner | Instructor

Mika began her yoga journey in college. After graduating from Auburn University, she moved to Taipei, Taiwan to teach English as a second language. She continued to strengthen her practice with yoga and her love of travel. This combination led her to discover that her passion was learning, teaching, and yoga. In 2015, Mika completed her 200 Hour Multi-Style YTT in India. She has recently began her study of Somatic Yoga. She loves to teach all types of yoga, but ultimately wants people of all ages to feel safe and comfortable in their own body and mind.
Sarah Baxter
Instructor
Sarah worked in Austin, TX as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner before moving to Florence in 2015. Once here, she knew she wanted to continue to teach the importance of mental health. She always loved practicing yoga as a way to relieve stress, and this ultimately led to her 200 Hour RYT Yoga Certification. She particularly loves teaching a heated Vinyasa class with playful transitions and peak poses. As someone who has experienced healing through the power of yoga, she is grateful for the opportunity to teach what she has learned to our Shoals community.
Kailey Smith
Instructor
Kailey is a Florence native who loves being able to explore new places and connect with people from around the world thanks to her job as a flight attendant. Her curiosity has always been a guide, which led her into her first yoga classes in college. While living in Washington, DC, an interest in asana expanded to include a growing practice of breath-work, meditation, and yoga philosophy. She hopes to help others find confidence, compassion, and creativity that they can cultivate and share in their daily life. Recently completing her RYT 200, she is inspired to continue a lifetime of learning and teaching in our wonderful community.
